Jay Song is a Managing Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to founding Premier Partners, Mr. Song worked at InterVest, Hyundai Venture Investment and Samsung Electronics. Jay has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Hanyang University. He also completed Advanced Management Program at KAIST Graduate School of Business.
Seong Kim is a Managing Partner of Premier Partners and is leading the Private Equity Division. He has led growth equity and buyout transactions in diverse industries. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked at STIC Investments, WTVC and Hyundai Motors. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. from Seoul National University, majoring in Aerospace Engineering and earned his MBA from the University of Oxford.
Joonyoun Cho is a Managing Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr Cho worked at SK Telecom and Arthur Andersen. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Yonsei University and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University.
Donghoon Lee is a Managing Partner of Premier Partners. He has invested in software, consumer and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked as an investment professional at STIC Investments. He also worked for Solid Technologies and Samsung Electro-mechanics as an engineer. He earned his B.S. and M.S. from Korea University, majoring in Physics.
Yongkee Lim is a is Managing Partner and Chief Risk Officer of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Lim served as CEO, CFO of CDNeworks and worked for Hyundai Venture Investment. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sogang University.
Steve Moon, PhD is a Partner of Premier Partners and Head of the Bio Division. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Dr. Moon worked as a researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and invested in life-science and IT startups at Hyundai Venture Investment. He received a BS in Fiber and Polymer Science of College of Engineering from Seoul National Univerity, an MS in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from University of Michigan, and an MBA from University of Cambridge.
Donghoon Jeon is a Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked at Stax and Samil PwC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Yonsei University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Byeongchan Kim is a Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked at Samil PwC and KUDOS. He also worked at TeuniTeuni as a CFO, one of Premier Partner’s Portfoilos, from 2017 to 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Business Adminis tration from Seoul National University. He was certified as a CPA in 2004.
David Oh is a Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to Premier Partners, he joined Hyundai Venture Investment where he worked hands-on with a range of consumer, automotive and healthcare companies. David started his career at Hyundai Motors after completing his military duty as a Marine Corps officer. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Yonsei University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Minbeom Kim is a Partner of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Kim worked at the Investment Division of Simone Investment, Kingsley Capital Partners in London and IB Division of Yuanta Securities. He received a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from Korea University and an MBA from London Business School.
Sungin Chung is an Executive Advisor of Premier Partners. Mr. Chung founded Premier Partners to build a leading private equity firm leveraging his long experience in the industry. Prior to founding Premier Partners, he was a CEO of InterVest and worked as CIO for Hyundai Venture Investment. He began his career in 1981 as a venture capitalist at KTB Network. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University and MBA from Sogang University.
Hosung Ahn is a Director of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Ahn worked at the Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Ahn received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University, and an MBA from University of Michigan.
Hyeonhwan Jang is a Principal of Premier Partners. Mr. Jang was certified as a CPA in 2016. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked for Deloitte Anjin Korea. At Deloitte from 2016 to 2018, he audited various companies and advised corporations and investors in many M&A projects. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sogang University.
Seungmin Baeg is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Baeg worked at Cross-border M&A team of Samjong KPMG and Alternative Investment Division of Truston Asset Management. He received a B.A. in Business Administration from Korea University and was certified as a CPA in 2016.
Dongju Lee is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Lee worked at Samjong KPMG, Metanet, and ATKearney. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is also a USCPA and a CFA Charterholder.
Junseok Lee is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Lee worked at SK Square (Holding Company of SK Hynix), Mirae Asset Venture Investment VC Division, Samsung Electronics DS Division Semiconductor R&D Center Logic TD as Process Integratino Engineer, Dongjin Semichem R&D Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science & Master’s of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from KAIST.
Hayoung Yun is a Managing Director of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Yun worked at the S/W research lab of IBM and strategy planning division of Samsung Medison. He received a B.S. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and an M.S. in BioMedical Engineering from Yonsei University.
Daniel Kim is a Director of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Kim worked at the Strategy Division of Doosan Heavy Industry and Investment Division of Solborn investment. He earned a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from Yonsei University.
Jinho Kim joined Premier Partners in 2022 and serves as a Director focusing on IT and deep tech investments. He brings 15 years of engineering, product management, and corporate development experiences. Prior to Premier Partners, Jinho was an M&A senior manager at Samsung NEXT where he led strategic acquisitions of next generation technologies, but began his career as a software developer at Samsung Mobile. Jinho received an MBA from Harvard Business School and MS/BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Seungmin Roh is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Roh worked as an attorney-at-law at Hwang Mok Park, P.C.(Law Firm: Chungjeong) specializing in finance and M&A. He received a B.A. in Economics and a J.D. from Seoul National University and passed the Korean bar exam in 2013.
Sunwoo Kim, Ph.D., is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premer Partners, Dr. Kim workes as a researcher at KAIST and LG Innotek, and a task leader at Samsung semicondutor process architecture. He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Tsukuba and both his Master’s and Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Tokyo.
Edward Cho is a Managing Director of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Cho worked at Hanmi Pharmaceuticals, where he spearheaded Business Development and Alliance Managment initiatives for the company’s innovative programs. He holds a B.S. in Biological Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, an M.S. in Biological Science from Seoul National University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Jungpyo Hong is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Hong worked at IPO Division of NH Investment & Securities and worked as a CPA at Samil PwC. He received B.A. in Psychology and Bachelor of Business Administration from Yonsei University.
Jason Oh is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Dr. Oh worked at Hanmi Pharmaceuticals and Chong Kun Dang Pharma., where he was in charge of Clinical Development strategies for novel anti-cancer drugs. He holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Yonsei University. He studied Immunology and received an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Biological Science from Seoul National University.
Robert Kim is a Principal at Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, he worked at Ildong Holdings, where he led strategic investments across various biotech, medical device, and healthcare sectors. Robert built his professional career at Korea Otsuka and Roche, and he founded an IT platform service for an online pharmacy. He holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from Sungkyunkwan University and a pharmacy license.
Allison Park is a Principal at Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, she was a research data scientist at UNC Medicine. She holds a B.S. in Quantitative Social Science and Environmental Science, and an M.S. in Quantitative Biomedical Science (Health Data Science) from Dartmouth College and the Geisel School of Medicine.
Cheongjo Hwang is a Principal of Premier Partners. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Ms. Hwang worked as a general counsel at ToolGen. She received her LL.B. and J.D. from Korea University and passed the Korean bar exam in 2016.
Director Eun kyeong Park joined Premier Partners in 2008, was in charge of administraion of company and funds, and has been in charge of risk management from 2018. Prior to joining us, She was in charge of administration of funds and audit for 18 years at KTB Network and graduated from Kyonggi University’s Business Administration Department.
Tae woong Kwon is a Director of Premier Partners and is in charge of managing the fund’s operations. Prior to joining Premier Partners, Mr. Kwon worked at Eagon Industrial, Samkwang glass and DongkooBio Pharmaceuticals. He also successfully carried on IPO project at MEK-ICS. He received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Chonbuk National University and an MBA from KAIST.
